Wildlife Photography through the Lockdowns

Jay Knight January 25, 2025

Jay Knight March 30, 2024

In recent years I have been making the annual trip up into the hills of North Wales to Worlds End and the legendary Black Grouse Lek that is there. I suppose, once you have seen it once then you have no real reason to return, but for a photographer, it’s different…

Raptor Migration in Tarifa, Spain

Jay Knight March 26, 2019

Fresh back from a great 3 night birding trip to Southern Spain with mixed emotions. Happy that we saw a great suite of some top quality birds, but angry and sad as we were the victims of a robbery, and I’ve had all my camera gear stolen. Most photos in this blog are by my friends Martin Loftus and Dennis Atherton, who were with me on the trip.

Late Autumn in Norfolk, England

Jay Knight October 26, 2018

Norfolk is without doubt one of my favourite places for wildlife in the UK. I particularly enjoy it in the winter where you can see huge flocks of waders over The Wash at places like Snettisham, Frampton Marshes and Titchwell.
